SUMMARY:
A leading brand within the mining industry is currently seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant who has prior experience in mining to fill the available position of the Financial Controller.

POSITION INFO:

A rapidly growing mining company is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller. My client who has been successful in their operations for more than half a decade requires a solution orientated highflyer who would be responsible for but not limited to procurements, preparing budget reports, liaising with external auditors, strategic finance and tax planning. Duties:

Full finance function.
Costing.
Project management.
Work in progress.
Monitoring internal controls.
Budgets and forecasts
Procurements and compliance
Analysing financial data.

Qualifications and experience:

Qualified CA(SA)
4 – 6 years’ post articles experience
Must have mining / chemicals industry experience
Must have managing experience

Skills:

Advanced excel knowledge
