SUMMARY:
Calling all qualified Chartered Accountants from JSE listed entities who are meticulous and seeking an opportunity in the absolute direction.

POSITION INFO:

Our client who is a brand leader, listed on the JSE, within the property industry and has been in operations for more than quarter of a century, is currently seeking to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant to take on the available role of the Financial Controller. The successful incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Duties:

Preparations of annual financial statements
Full Finance Function
Budgets and Forecasts
VAT & Tax
Support month-end and year-end close process
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

Qualification and Experience:

Qualified CA(SA)
2 – 3 years post articles experience
Must have management experience
Must have prior experience within a JSE listed entity

Skills:

Advanced Excel Knowledge
IFRS (Non-negotiable)
