SUMMARY:
Calling all Financial Controller Superstars! My client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

The Successful Candidate will be Responsible for assisting the Financial Manager with regards to reporting. The main areas of focus include financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business support.

Responsibilities

Financial Services:

Financial Accounting
Follow acceptable accounting practices
IFRS
Cash flow requirements
Preparation of budgets
Preparation of forecasts

Reporting:

Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to Business Unit Heads, CFO, CEO and Apple in accordance with strict group reporting guidelines

Tax:

Monthly tax substantiation
Income tax calculation

Qualifications and Experience:

BCom in Accounting or Bcompt.
3 - 5 years experience in a similare role
Systems and ERP experience
Advanced Excel and Data skills
Deep undrstanding of data tables, data extraction and formatting of data into presentable formats
CA(SA) would be advantageous or even some Articles Experience.
