Seeking a high achieving finance professional with both technical and operational skills.

POSITION INFO:

Our client who is a brand leader within the pharmaceuticals industry and has been in operations for more than half a century, is currently seeking to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant to take on the available role of the Financial Controller. The successful incumbent must be a high achiever who will be responsible for but not limited to financial management, including corporate accounting, statutory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Duties:

Full Finance Function
Preparations of annual financial statements
Budgets and Forecasts
VAT & Tax
Variance analysis
Liaise with auditors
Support month-end and year-end close process
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

Qualification and Experience:

Qualified CA(SA)
Big4 articles
6 – 8 years post articles experience
Must have prior Pharmaceuticals / FMCG experience

Skills:

Advanced Excel Knowledge
