SUMMARY:
One of Datacentrix client based in Midrand is looking for a Financial Controller to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the financial and accounting activities to ensuring monthly results are accurately and completely accounted for, consolidated and reviewed.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily review and support of the business with challenging financial transactions (Revenue, goods receiving, inventory valuations, etc.);
• Daily reporting and management of cash flow;
• Compliance with required accounting standards, tax, exchange control and other required legislation;
• Generation of monthly management account;
• Lead external audit liaisons;
• Processing of payroll results into general ledger;
• Lead the budgeting operational process annually;
• Ad hoc reporting as needed;
• Metric based management of staff to achieve departmental objectives;
• Monitor, control, participate and help to drive financial related process, control and policy improvements as needed;
• Key member of the business systems forum;
• Quarterly company bonus stats collection operational control.

Education and Experience:

BCom Accounting Degree (Essential) and BCom Honours an advantage
5 years post qualification experience in a similar position/Senior Accountant
Distribution / FMCG experience beneficial and IT Industry & products
Foreign currency accounting experience an advantage
