Financial Controller

SUMMARY:
Main Job Purposes:

• Finance Business Support for Country and Region Leadership Team in achieving their targets in terms of:
• Sales
• Profitability
• Working capital
• Responsible for all financial aspects of the location:
• general ledger and internal control
• compliant, timely and accurate country internal and external reporting for the country
• Ensure compliant, timely and accurate country reporting
• Lead local finance team
• Support Managing Director and Regional Finance initiatives

POSITION INFO:


Professional qualification and experience:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance / Controlling / Accounting
• Around 5 years of experience in Finance;
• Good knowledge of and experience in company administration
• Advanced analytical skills and trend analysis
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of organization
• Strong command of English
• Experienced with advanced Excel models
• Skills with Baan ERP, Cognos reporting is an advantage

• Monitor and achieve country and regional KPI''s;
• Maintain transaction processes and systems to ensure effective processing of financial and operational information.
• Timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting for the country and region;
• Ensure adequate safeguarding of Company assets;
• Manage general accounting and closing procedures
• Manage local vendors payment and payroll
• Drive planning & control cycles: strategic plan, budgeting, forecasting, monthly analyses and interpretation of results
• Responsible for consolidated financial reports based on IFRS and Group Policies
• Ad hoc projects incl. Regional and Global initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements as well as internal controls
• Coordination of Tax/legal and Internal Control activities
• Support collection of receivables process
• Initiate internal procedures and ensure their implementation
• Drive country investment proposal process supported by financial analysis
• Continues improvement and innovation attitude
• Manage local finance team
