SUMMARY:
Automotive component manufacturing concern, based in Pretoria East, has an opening for a Financial Controller / Accountant to join their team. Compile and provide accurate and timeous financial information to plant management in order to make informed business decisions. Position would suit a candidate who comes from an Automotive Component Manufacturing / similar industry.

POSITION INFO:
Start immediately! Successful incumbent will have a completed B.Com (Accounting) / equivalent, with 5+ years related Accounting experience within a Manufacturing / Automotive Component Manufacturing concern. Position requires a self-starter who understands the complexities of working in a manufacturing plant. KPI''s include: general financial management such as maintaining the plant CAPEX and tooling reports, reviewing weekly payroll, review and action financial variances (budgets / forecasts), B/S recons, comply with internal controls, maintain and review the risk register; participate in the budget / forecast process; prepare budget and forecast for plants; prepare plant P&L and B/S forecast; prepare financial reports and returns (month BU / Plant financial packs); flash results; compile and review sales reports; GL; CAPEX, tooling and fixed assets; audits and year-end processes; calculating landed cost on all import shipments; prepare / review DA190''s; investigate PPV; generate variance report of actuals to budget information; stock control; cash management; debtors management; creditors; review forex forecasts; plants FEC contracts based on AP requirement; continuous improvement and reporting. ERP systems experience essential.
