JOB SUMMARY:
Large manufacturing concern based in Aeroton has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller - Africa to join their team. Report to the Regional Executive : Africa and be responsible for the full financial accounting function in the Zimbabwe and Swaziland branches.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Successful incumbent will be a qualified CA(SA), with 1-2 years related accounting experience in the manufacturing sector and overseeing financial disciplines within the company's branches in Zimbabwe and Swaziland. Cross-border accounting experience essential. Assist in the preparation of the month-end accounts up to management accounts; stay abreast of all legislative requirements relating to the commercial operation of the branches across border regions; finance agreement and rental validation, control and reconciliation and input of all related accounts to the GL; tax related controls, including reasonability tests and reconciliation between tax returns and GL; investigating unexpected variances in the in Income Statement; monitor all debtors and creditors records; setting up and maintaining monthly reconciliations for all B/S accounts; maintain accurate and up to date reporting on estimates, pricing and overdrafts; manage the costing run for cross-border branches and assisting the Regional Executive : Africa with adhoc assignments. SAP experience essential. A valid passport is essential as you may need to travel to the countries as and when needed.
