Job & Company Description:

I am assisting a client of mine in the data management space secure a firm candidate to control their finance operations for 6 months. The genius candidate to fill this position will be responsible for the financial control environment within all entities in the Southern African region.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing of the accounting and internal control activities
Accurate monthly accounting
Group reporting
Statutory accounts management
Resolving accounting issues
Reconciling balance sheet accounts

Education and skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
Good understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
Exposure to SOX
Previous experience in managing the accounting function for a large multinational corporation
