SUMMARY:
Opportunity for a Financial Director

POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity exists for a seasoned CA(SA) to step into a Financial Director role within a leading subsidiary of a JSE-listed group. This position offers the chance to work closely with executive leadership and the board, driving financial excellence and business strategy in a dynamic, high-performance environment.

Duties:

Provide strategic financial leadership as part of the executive team.
Oversee subsidiary reporting and consolidation in line with listed entity standards.
Manage financial governance, risk, and compliance across the business.
Lead hedging and treasury initiatives to mitigate risks and optimise performance.
Drive efficiencies through IT systems, automation, and process improvements.
Partner with procurement and operations to deliver commercial value.
Present insights and recommendations at board level to support growth strategies.

Education and experience:

CA(SA) qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Financial Director/Executive/Board-level role.
Proven track record in subsidiary reporting within a listed environment.
Strong exposure to hedging, IT systems, and procurement.
Industry experience in automotive is beneficial but not essential
