A pioneering, globally connected organisation is seeking a visionary Finance Director to steer its financial strategy, strengthen governance, and play a pivotal role in driving long-term value creation.

POSITION INFO:
This market-leading, internationally active group operates in a complex, high-growth environment where strategic foresight, financial excellence, and operational discipline are key to continued success. The Finance Director will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, providing forward-looking financial leadership while ensuring that the organisation’s financial health, compliance, and performance remain world-class. This is an opportunity for a seasoned finance executive who thrives in dynamic environments, brings deep governance expertise, and excels in influencing, motivating, and elevating teams across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across all Group entities
Manage the cash flow, treasury, capital allocation, and banking relationships
Oversee internal controls, enterprise risk management, and compliance frameworks
Ensure full regulatory adherence, including FICA, statutory reporting, and tax compliance
Oversee shipping and logistics financial management, cost optimisation, and supplier efficiency
Manage legal and contract risk, ensuring that commercial terms safeguard the Group
Mentor, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team across subsidiaries
Provide strategic financial guidance on growth projects, business development, and acquisitions

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) with 10–15 years post-articles experience in a senior finance role
Proven track record in complex, multi-entity environments
Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills
Ability to operate with urgency, independence, and sound judgment
Professional maturity to engage effectively with executives, stakeholders, and diverse teams
