Not all heavy lifting happens on the warehouse floor. Some of it happens in finance - turning numbers into decisions, leading teams, and keeping the gears of business running smoothly. A leading industrial business in Johannesburg North is looking for a Financial Manager (CA(SA)) to take charge of the finance function, bring energy to the team, and keep the numbers lifting their weight. You’ll manage a high-performing team, oversee the full finance function, and get involved in everything from the labour recovery models to the reporting that drives strategy. This is not a back-office role - it’s a hands-on leadership opportunity in a fast-paced, supply-driven industry. Personality matters here: we’re looking for someone dynamic, confident, and ready to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full finance function - reporting, compliance, cash flow, and controls
Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring they’re pulling their weight
Provide insights into labour recovery and operational efficiency
Prepare and deliver management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
Partner with operations and leadership to support strategic decisions
Ensure processes are efficient, streamlined, and scalable

Job Experience and Skills Required

CA(SA) – essential
At least 1 year of management experience
Previous exposure to the industrial or supply chain sector preferred
Understanding of labour recovery models advantageous
Strong leadership and communication skills - a confident, dynamic personality is key
Hands-on, energetic, and able to “do the heavy lifting” when needed
