JOB SUMMARY:
Our client who is based in Pretoria Centurion is looking for a dynamic, motivated, and self-driven Financial Manager who can operate autonomously in a highly competitive Cybersecurity market.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
Predicting future financial trends
Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
Assist with developing long-term business plans based on these reports
Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets
Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
Analysing market trends and competitors
Provide leadership in development and evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
Ensure credibility of finance function via timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts
Direct and oversee all aspects of finance & accounting functions of the company and align to head office requirements
Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management.
Maintains accounting system.
Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
Reviews financial reports.
Prepares financial forecasts.
Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance.
Analyses revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
Assists management to make financial decisions.
Supervises employees.
Investigates means to improve profitability.
Reviews and processes payments of the company.
Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions within the company as well as with suppliers and customers
Manage processes for financial forecasting and budgets reporting to the group and head office
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory laws and rules for applicable company regulation, financial and tax reporting
Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organisation
Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors
Attend and present results at board meetings
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, fixed assets, and sales pricing
Develops finance organisational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organisational objectives
Monitors financial performance by measuring and analysing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances and negative impact on the business
Establish and maintain a motivated and efficient finance team, geared for customer service excellence and company growth
Maintain a healthy work environment and employee experience together with the ER/HR Manage

Requirements:

BComm or BCompt degree in financial accounting.
SAICA/CIMA/SAIPA affiliation
An analytical mind
Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strongâ¯working relationships
Commercial and business awareness
A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
Ability to stick to time constraints
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with advanced presentation skill
Proactive communicator and collaborator; enjoys working in a dynamic, evolving team
Ability to manage multiple projects
Thoroughness
Understanding of confidentiality
Adept at analysing information
Decision making skills
Adaptive
Strong negotiation skills
Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
Financial modelling skills
Prepared to work long and extended hours
Advanced knowledge and understanding of short-term incentive programs
