SOMERSET WEST: My client client, a well-established property management company, is seeking to employ an experienced Financial Portfolio Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the financial administration and management of an allocated portfolio of sectional title schemes and/or homeowners' associations.

This is a hands-on role combining accounting, financial administration, portfolio management and client liaison, with regular interaction with trustees, directors and scheme members.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to Managing the financial administration of an allocated portfolio of schemes Preparing and explaining monthly financial reports and budget variances Managing levies, special levies, invoices, receipts, payments and journals Monitoring debtors, levy arrears, creditors and bank accounts Assisting with budgets, levy schedules and ongoing financial monitoring Preparing payment batches and assisting with bank reconciliations Investigating and resolving financial queries and discrepancies Assisting with annual financial statements, audits and related schedules Liaising professionally with trustees, directors and members Ensuring accurate financial records and sound financial controls Criteria Relevant t ertiary qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Financial Management or a related field 2-5 years' experience in a financial administration or accounting role Strong understanding of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, budgets and financial reporting Strong Excel and accounting-system skills Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills Professional, organised and service-driven approach Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport Experience in property management, sectional title, HOA or real estate will be highly advantageous.
