POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Our client is a Retail company that has made waves over the years. They have a strong company brand and they have a team filled with driven and passionate individuals who share the company’s vision. They are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant: Statutory Reporting. This is a permanent opportunity that will allow a “work from home” basis for the foreseeable future, alternatively it would be based in the Johannesburg area. The successful candidate must be a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with a minimum of 2-3 years’ post articles experience within the FMCG, Retail or similar industry sector.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Monthly Reporting & Reconciliation
Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
Preparation of Financial Packs for Manco
Assistance with Budget Preparations & Forecasts
Calculation of Variances
Tax & VAT
IFRS Compliance
Intercompany Accounting
Internal Controls
Audit Packs

Qualifications Required:

SAICA registered Chartered Accountants CA(SA) with a minimum of 2-3 years’ post articles experience within the commercial sector.
Experience within the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Retail or similar industry sector preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
