A JSE listed powerhouse in the education and recruitment industry is looking for experienced, driven Fixed Asset Manager, based in Johannesburg North.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A JSE listed powerhouse in the education and recruitment industry is looking for experienced, driven Fixed Asset Manager, based in Johannesburg North.

Your job functions will include but are not limited too managing the fixed asset department, oversee and approve all operating procedures for the fixed asset department in line with IFRS and tax legislations. Complete accurate fixed asset transaction processing for the group. Accurate and complete monthly operations; reporting and fixed assets, as well as ad hoc projects across the fixed asset department.

Education Requirements:

BCom in Finance/Accounting
BCom Honours beneficial
Professional finance qualification advantageous

Job Requirements and Skills:

10-12 years in fixed asset role
Working with significant fixed asset portfolio essential
Strong people and management skills
Advanced MS Excel, no-negotiable
Attention to detail
Deadline driven
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Great communication skills and a good team player
