JOB SUMMARY:
On a search for an experienced Fixed Asset Accountant seeking to expand their skill set within one of the leading Retail and distribution clients in the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
My client is a multidisciplinary entity with a diverse service offering with education being its key one. They have been in operation for nearly 5 decades and have a strong presence across the SADC region.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and approving all standard operating procedures for the fixed asset department in line with requirements of IFRS and taxation legislation as well as report compilation and reporting directly to the departmental Manager.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Min 10 years’ experience in a similar role – with minimum 5 years in a management role
Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting – or related (advantageous)
Experience on Pastel Evolution – non-negotiable!
Advanced Excel skills
