General Manager for Finance

SUMMARY:
Our client, a globally recognised player within the automotive and mobility sector, is looking to appoint a commercially minded General Manager: Finance to join their high-performing leadership team.

POSITION INFO:
This is far more than a traditional finance role. The successful individual will play a critical part in driving operational performance, strategic direction, and commercial decision-making across the business. If you are a CA(SA) who enjoys being deeply involved in business operations while influencing strategy at an executive level, this opportunity will place you at the centre of a fast-paced and evolving environment. Key Requirements: CA(SA) qualification is essential. Minimum 3 years' post-articles experience. Exposure to automotive, OEM, logistics, or related industries advantageous. Strong operational and strategic finance capability. Commercially minded with strong leadership ability. Ability to partner with executives and influence decision-making. Duties and Responsibilities: Drive strategic financial planning and operational performance. Provide commercial insight to support business growth and profitability. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Partner with operational teams to improve efficiencies and performance. Support executive decision-making through financial analysis and insights. Oversee governance, compliance, and risk management. Lead and mentor the finance team within a high-performance culture.
