JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for a Governance Controller: Operations.

Requirements:

BCom or equivalent.
2 to 3 years Operational Finance and auditing experience.
Previous governance and control experience would be advantageous.
Operational knowledge.
CA, CIMA or CA(SA) qualified.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review current internal controls.
Monitor that internal and external audit findings are closed out within agreed deadlines.
Collaborate with team and operations for proposed changes to CSA’s
Independently test on CSA’s.
Identify risks and opportunities and report to management.
Provide agreed governance reporting to the regional and financial management.
Align governance and process reporting across the region.
Attend, coordinate, approve results and process improvement of Stock counts.
Ensure management responsibilities are being performed.
Provide support to the governance Controller.
Partner with CCBSA HQ and mitigate SODs.
