POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Descriptions
A well-established business is seeking a newly qualified or recently qualified Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate who has completed SAICA articles and is looking to build strong commercial experience within a structured and supportive environment.

Duties:

Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
Prepare VAT and statutory submissions
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Provide financial reporting support to management

Qualifications & Skills:

BCom Accounting (required)
Completed SAICA articles (required)
1+ year post-articles experience in a commercial environment
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadline
