Group CFO (6 Months FTC)

SUMMARY:
A leading player in the renewable energy space is seeking an experienced Group CFO to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic finance executive who can step in quickly, stabilise financial operations, and drive performance in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
You will operate at board level, partnering with the CEO and executive team to provide financial leadership, strengthen governance, and ensure robust financial management across the group’s renewable energy portfolio.

POSITION INFO:
This organisation operates within the renewable energy sector, contributing to South Africa's transition toward sustainable and clean power solutions. The group is involved in large-scale energy infrastructure projects and requires a strong financial leader to ensure governance, financial integrity, and strategic alignment across multiple entities. As Group CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the full finance function and partnering closely with the CEO and executive leadership team. You will provide financial leadership across reporting, controls, funding, and strategic planning, ensuring the group remains financially robust while scaling its renewable energy footprint. This is a high-impact leadership assignment where you will influence capital allocation, support investor engagement, and strengthen financial systems and governance frameworks.
