Group Financial Manager: CA(SA)

SUMMARY:
A leading organization within the industrial, mining and engineering sector is seeking an experienced and technically strong Group Financial Manager to join its senior finance team.

POSITION INFO:
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CA(SA) who is passionate about group reporting, statutory reporting and complex group consolidations . The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the group finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while driving financial excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the full group financial reporting and consolidation process Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reports Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements Lead complex group consolidations , including intercompany eliminations and reconciliation of group balances Ensure compliance with IFRS , accounting standards, tax and statutory requirements Oversee the month-end and year-end reporting process across multiple entities Review management accounts, financial results and key financial performance indicators Manage and coordinate the annual external audit process Work closely with senior management and operational finance teams across the group Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, systems and controls Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the wider finance team Lead, mentor and develop the finance team Requirements CA(SA) qualification is essential and non-negotiable A strong passion for group reporting, statutory reporting and group consolidations Minimum of 5 years' management experience within a group or multi-entity environment Proven experience managing complex financial reporting and consolidation processes Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements Previous exposure within the industrial, mining or engineering sectors is crucial Experience working in a complex, operational and commercially driven environment Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities Apply now!
