HR Generalist

SUMMARY:
A large agricultural manufacturer is seeking a dynamic HR Specialist to ensure the company’s staffing and HR development objectives are achieved at their various sites.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a degree in Human Resources
• 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources in a generalist role will be required
• Good knowledge of local regulation is essential
• Must have good communication and relationship-building skills
• IT and social media skills for recruitment is advantageous
• Must be fluent in English whilst an understanding of other local languages will be beneficial
• Must have a valid South African Drivers Licence and be willing to travel between sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising the HR Manager on suitable candidates, scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, and maintaining records and information.
• Managing relocations and intern programs.
• Establishing recruiting requirements by studying the organization’s plans and objectives and meeting with Managers to discuss the needs of the company.
• Organizing the Training and HR development program for the company.
• Conducting succession planning and ensuring performance management is completed within timelines with the Managers of the company while advising them on the process.
• Managing the HR Information system.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
