HR Manager

SUMMARY:
We require an experienced HR Manager (Wages) in the Tulbagh / Winelands area who will assist the Head of HR by implementing policies to foster a productive culture.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. HR Management / Industrial Psychology degree
3. SABPP Professional Registration (advantageous)
4. At least 5 - 7 years HR experience
5. At least 3 years experience in a management/senior role
6. Strategic workforce planning and talent management
7. Advanced conflict resolution and negotiation skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9. Ability to design and implement training and development programs
10. Competence in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
11. Ability to work independently and under stressful situations
12. Professional, assertiveness and integrity

• Financial Management: ensure 100% error-free payroll processing
• Human Capital (Talent Density): Improve workforce capabilities and skills, measured by Skills Matrix assessments
• Human Capital (Climate): Enhance employee engagement
• Human Capital (Staff Turnover): Reduction in turnover rates, bench marked against industry standards
• Decrease in absenteeism rates, tracked monthly
• Productivity/Performance Management: timely and effective appraisals, tracked through completion rates and ensure that 95% of all wage staff are assessed in accordance with review timelines
• Governance & Compliance: ensure zero non-compliance cases in audits
• Systems: ensure that accurate and updated employee data is captured on all HRIS systems
• Empowerment Office Efficiency - ensure that HR/Timekeeping/Payroll reports are accurate and submitted within 48 hours of request
