Head of Capital Markets

An exciting opportunity exists for a senior finance professional to step into a Head of Capital Markets & Treasury role within a high-growth, boutique property investment business. POSITION INFO:

Develop and implement optimal capital structures across development and income-generating assets
Lead all debt funding, refinancing, and capital structuring activities
Build and manage relationships with banks, lenders, and capital partners
Build and manage relationships with banks, lenders, and capital partners
Oversee treasury functions including liquidity, cash flow management, and covenant compliance
Design and manage funding strategies aligned to project timelines and exit strategies
Support portfolio-level capital allocation and growth planning
Lead transaction execution including debt raises, refinances, and facility restructures
Collaborate with internal teams, lenders, and advisors to ensure smooth deal execution

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8–15+ years’ experience in investment banking, structured finance, or real estate finance
Proven track record in raising and structuring debt and managing complex funding arrangements
Strong understanding of property finance and SPV-based structures
Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
Deep understanding of capital structuring metrics (LTV, DSCR, IRR, etc.)
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate strategically and execute tactically
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and founder-led environment

Qualification:
Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
CFA advantageous
