POSITION INFO:
Introduction Harmony Gold Mining Company is recruiting a Head of Cybersecurity to lead the organisation's cybersecurity strategy and ensure the digital landscape remains secure and aligned with business and technology objectives. The role is responsible for establishing and coordinating cybersecurity initiatives across the group. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Informatics or Computer Engineering Minimum 5+ years' senior leadership experience in cybersecurity 10-15 years hands-on experience across cybersecurity domains Deep technical expertise in managing cybersecurity environments Strong knowledge of cybersecurity management principles and industry standards Advanced degree (advantageous) Job Description Summary Develop and implement the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, and standards Establish and manage cybersecurity risk and control frameworks Lead and develop high-performing cybersecurity teams Oversee deployment and operation of security solutions (e.g., monitoring, detection, controls) Manage incident response, threat detection, and business continuity preparedness Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and simulation exercises Manage vendor relationships and third-party cybersecurity risks Ensure governance, compliance, and reporting to relevant forums and stakeholders Drive cybersecurity awareness and training programmes across the organisation
