POSITION INFO:
Introduction Harmony Gold Mining Company is seeking a Head of Service Delivery and Technology Operations to ensure reliable, available, and sustainable IT infrastructure and services across the organisation. This role is responsible for leading infrastructure strategy, service delivery, and operational excellence to support business-critical and life-sensitive mining operations. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Informatics or Computer Engineering (advanced degree preferred). Minimum 5+ years' senior leadership experience in technology infrastructure and service delivery. 10-15 years hands-on experience across infrastructure and service domains. Deep technical expertise in infrastructure architecture, cloud computing, and application of AI\/ML. Strong understanding of infrastructure governance and industry standards . Job Description Summary Define and execute the IT infrastructure and service delivery strategy. Lead IT infrastructure operations including computing, networks, storage, and software platforms. Manage service desk operations and end-user support aligned to ITIL practices. Oversee network design, performance, and security in collaboration with security teams. Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience capabilities. Support integration between IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Implement infrastructure automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Establish SLAs, monitor performance, and manage IT asset lifecycle. Ensure governance, reporting, and alignment with business requirement.
