Construction & Renewable Energy Sector
A leading organisation within the Construction and Renewable Energy sector is seeking an experienced Head of Operational Finance to lead its finance function across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements CA(SA) qualification (essential) Minimum 6 years' post-articles experience At least 4 years' experience managing and leading finance teams Construction industry experience, ideally within Industrial and Renewable Energy projects Strong cash flow modelling and financial forecasting experience Advanced knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15 Strong understanding of South African tax legislation Excellent English communication skills Advantageous International experience (Mozambique, Namibia, Mauritius, Kenya, UAE) Portuguese proficiency BuildSmart experience Key Responsibilities Manage the full financial accounting function across all group entities Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning Drive monthly project financial reviews with senior leadership Ensure IFRS compliance and regulatory adherence Oversee debtors, creditors, accounting functions, and asset management Perform variance analysis and provide strategic financial insights Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team Support business growth through financial reporting, controls, and process improvements Key Competencies Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines To apply, please submit your CV.
