SUMMARY:
Opportunity for a Head of Finance

POSITION INFO:

My client that is part of the mining sector is currently recruiting for a Head of Finance. This is a global organization that has opened its doors over 90 years ago. The successful individual will be a strong leader who would manage the finance function in accordance with the company’s framework and values.

Duties:

Manage financial and statutory compliance
Governance of financial policies
Manage the preparation of annual financial statements
Manage the treasury activities
Control all financial data integrity
Tax review
Manage the preparation of information for the BBBEE audits

Education and experience:

CA(SA)
At least 6 years post article experience in the corporate environment
