SUMMARY:
A multinational entity in the FMCG sector is currently in the market for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take up a role as a Head of Finance Control.

POSITION INFO:

A multinational entity in the FMCG sector is currently in the market for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take up a role as a Head of Finance Control.

Qualifications and Experience:

CA (SA)
4 – 5 years post articles experience
Staff management experience (essential)
SAP ERP system experience (beneficial)
FMCG industry experience (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance of CBU financial statements with Group rules for Management Accounts and IFRS rules for Statutory Accounts.
Co-ordinate CBS and CBU to deliver an accurate and timely monthly closing process, including validation of all closing options and on time reporting in full.
Lead the Financial Accounting team, developing strong competencies to ensure excellence in execution and service level.
Act as Key Account contact for the CBUs and support them in the forecasting process and financial reporting.
