SUMMARY:
Are you an innovative thinker and hungry for sales? Then you will love this opportunity! A multinational FMCG organization is looking for a highly experienced Head of Sales with extensive expertise in General Trade to develop and maximize the distribution of National retail, wholesale and route to market chains.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

At least 9 - 15years’ sales experience in a similar or related industry - preferably FMCG or retail
Commercial experience and be commercially astute
Able to identify new business, build sales team capabilities and manage customer relationships
Expertise in brand marketing, innovation process, strategy development, market segmentation, and insights as well as market research
Exceptional business development skills
Build relationships between distributors and clients

Knowledge and skills in:

Sales, sales operations and sales capabilities
Wholesale and Route-to-market
Traditional Trade

Education:
Degree eg BCom/BSC or postgraduate qualification
MBA - advantageous
