SUMMARY:

Our client, a leading fintech, an eCommerce company, is looking for a dynamic Head of Strategic Sales. This role will be responsible for tech-platform sales.  The incumbent will be managing a sales team, developing and executing sales strategies to exceed aggressive account acquisition and output goals. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key decision-makers within senior management and executive teams of prospective accounts.  This, along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams create and present compelling solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.  Exposure to marketing tools will be key as the focus needs to align to 5Ps.



POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling of tech-platform.
  • Define and implement Sales strategy, Partnerships, and Commercial plans, along with management to aggressively grow our brand and retail partnerships.
  • Ensure the Sales team is aligned and engage with vendors to understand their needs and gauge fit with the company’s tech platform offering.
  • Assist Sales team drive sales targets, remove roadblocks, and close business – ensuring achievement of weekly, monthly, and quarterly quota targets.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to tech team – aligning the vendor needs to product development - uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
  • Lead and work with marketing and other internal teams to identify, align and execute sales opportunities accordingly.
  • Drive commercial outcomes for the company and its partners.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, with equivalent being 5+ years sales experience in eCommerce, Internet, or a related industry
  • Proven track record of presenting to/ negotiating with Executive Leadership (both internal/external) Experience meeting sales targets using a solution-focused approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Relentlessly customer-focused.
  • Closing multi-million deals with strategic accounts.·
  • Experience working with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
