JOB SUMMARY:

Applications are invited for an INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT CONTROLLER in the Midrand area and reports to the Head of Management Control & Industrial Director.

Purpose:

To analyze, interpret and advise on the performance of the site through effective reporting and implementing of action plans. Maintain, manage, and coordinate management accounting and costing activities.

Continuously driving performance, collaboration, optimising the effectiveness and efficiencies within the Plant, with the view of continually improving overall performances, influencing profitability and industrial practises.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
B Com Accounting Degree or equivalent
3-5 years Proven experience in Industrial Finance Management in Foods Industry/FMCG
+2 years budget setting
Relevant financial, computer systems and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing financial reports and analyzing of financial data.
Provide financial analysis of data and reporting to improve the business results
Have strategic approach to improve plant performance
Developing financial plans to support the organisational strategy
Evaluating and managing total Industrial business risk
Ensuring compliance with regulations
Implementing and monitoring proper internal controls
Take ownership and have leading role in the preparation of the annual Industrial budget
Take ownership and lead the monthly Forecast process
Managing financial transactions.
Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
Managing accounts records
Assist with internal & external audit process
Ensure accuracy of financial information
Guide and train staff on business finance issues
Drive income / cash flow generation
Manage the full costing function
Understand, interpret and challenge costing aspects
Go beyond job scope and assist with full management control integration
Understand and drive expenses down
Drive and control production yields
Manage and control stock with analysis and stock provision management
Perform full Industrial variance analysis
