JOB SUMMARY:
A Financial Institute in the centre of Pretoria has a CONTRACT vacancy for a IT Quality Manager.
Establish an effective and efficient IT Quality Management System (QMS) that will assist with the achievement of the Bank’s IT quality objectives. The main driver behind quality management is to ensure that the IT solutions and services provided to the Bank are of a consistent high standard as articulated in the Bank’s I &T Strategy document. Reliable data and information are key inputs to the effective management of the Bank. It is imperative that accurate data and information be accessible in a timely manner to facilitate informed decision-making

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CONTRACT POSITION. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY.

Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science/ Information Systems / Informatics or a related IT quality discipline/ technical field or certification.
A minimum of 7 years IT Quality Management experience or a combination of equivalent education and relevant
Extensive knowledge of IT Quality Management Systems implementation
Experience in bringing an organisation into ISO certification will be an added
Experience writing IT QMS manuals, related procedures, or work instructions
Understanding of IT Quality Systems Regulatory
In-depth knowledge and use of process improvement and quality management methods, tools, and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software or business operations
Experience with multiple development methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid) & different
Understanding of applications and /or infrastructure
