Job Description:

The client is one of our big banks and they are looking for a candidate who has a passion for IT Risk and has experience from the banking industry. The candidate will be expected to be an independent worker who will be able to ensure the risk framework of the bank is managed effectively. The candidate should have experience in managing a team.

Duties:

Access and mitigate potential risk.
Implement sound businesses that minimize IT risk of the bank.
Establish and manage targets and budget goals but still ensure effect controls of costs.
Maintain a sound risk management culture.
Keep up to date with expert knowledge on relevant legislations and policies in the risk industry.
Manage a team of specialists.
Benchmark current IT practices against IT risk management.

Qualifications:

IT Risk Management degree.
One of the following professional designations; CRISC, CISA, CISSP or CISM.

Experience:

8 years’ experience within IT Risk.
At least 5 years managerial experience.
