POSITION INFO:

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking an IT Risk and Compliance Technology Security Manager to join their team remotely on a 12 month contract, They offer stability, exposure, attractive salary and an excellent working environment.

Description

Our client is currently looking for a IT Risk and Compliance manager to manage and implement multiple IT Risk and Compliance projects and provide guidance to IT Risk and Compliance staff. This is a 12 month contract which is remote for the moment and long term will need to be in Johannesburg or Cape Town.

Requirements

• IT Risk Management Manage Senior IT Risk staff to ensure project objective and deliverables are met. 
• Internal Security Compliance Frameworks (ATSG )
• Manage project to ensure compliance and deadlines are met. 
• Assist with development & implementation of controls.
• Provide guidance to junior staff to ensure implementation of controls are met.
• Knowledge of ISO270001 is required. 
• SOX Compliance (SOX)
• Manage project to ensure compliance and deadlines are met. 
• Perform monthly SOX controls.
• Perform self-assessments. 
• Assist with development & implementation of controls.
• Provide guidance to junior staff to ensure implementation of controls are met and control self-assessments are completed.
• Knowledge of SOX ITGC and SAP Basis is required. 
• Provide guidance to IT Management on controls. 
• List of Deficiencies (LOD) Tracking and Remediation Testing of previously performed Security Assessments and Internal Audits
• Provide guidance to junior staff to ensure LOD is kept updated and findings are tested accurately.
• Test the remediation of findings. 
• Provide guidance to IT Members on best possible solutions to remediate findings. 
• Third Party Risk Management Manage Senior IT Risk staff to ensure project objective and deliverables are met.
• Confidentiality Management (including MIP)
• Manage project to ensure project objective and deliverables are met.
• Assist with development & implementation of policies and procedures for confidentiality management. 
• Communication to Business Areas to ensure compliance.
• SAP Access Risk Management Manage project to ensure project objective and deliverables are met.
• Application Upgrades Manage project to ensure applications are upgraded to latest versions and project documentation are in place. 
• Cyber Security Incident Response
• Assist with development & implementation of incident response plans.
• Assist with facilitation and preparation for incident response tests.
• Security Assessments Facilitator security assessment meetings and ensure security assessment are planned and take place. 
• ISO27001 compliance
• Manage project to ensure compliance and deadlines are met. 
• Assist with development & implementation of controls.
• Provide guidance to junior staff to ensure implementation of controls are met.
• Knowledge of ISO270001 is required.
• Provide guidance to IT Management on controls.
• CIS Standards
• Manage project to ensure project objective and deliverables are met.
• Assist with development & implementation of CIS Standards. 
• Threat & Vulnerability Management
• Manage Senior IT Risk staff to ensure project objective and deliverables are met.
• Update monthly reporting for IT Management. 
• Global: Group Security Standards Assist with formalisation and rollout of global security standards. 
• Monthly/weekly and ad hoc duties
• Create Monthly reports for IT and Executive Management.
• Facilitate and report at monthly IT GRC meetings with IT Management. 
• Perform monthly SOX controls.
• Gather information and ensure completion of security questionnaires (ad hoc).
• Weekly reporting on projects status. 
• Liaise and assist audit (internal and external) with evidence gathering and clarification when needed on IT Security controls and IT Processes. 

Must have experience and knowledge required:

• Experience and knowledge of Information Technology and IT Security.
• Successfully managed and implemented IT Risk and Compliance projects. 
• Project Management experience. 
• Experience with managing junior staff. 
• Able to create and present executive reports.
• Must be able to communicate with all level of management.
