POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Industrial Relations Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering positive employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, and managing all aspects of workplace discipline and dispute resolution. This position requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships between management, employees, and unions. Minimum requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Own vehicle
• Fluent in English
• BCom degree in Labour Law or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Industrial Law or Labour Law
• Proficient in MS Office

Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Management of dispute resolution
• Consultative process between management and employees
• Compliance with labour legislation Controlling Industrial Relations Climate (all unions) Reporting all cases with financial impact to the CEO Monthly
• Industrial Relations report gathering and preparing CCMA documents
• Preparing for CCMA matters
• Representing company at CCMA for all referred disputes
• Drafting of closing arguments, notices, affidavits, letters of demand , Con/Arb objections
• Management of CCMA cases and Labour Court Referrals
• Management of disciplinary cases
• Assessing merits of CCMA and Labour Court matters and providing advise

Remuneration:

R 35 000 - R 42 000 Cost to Company, depending on experience + Provident Fund Contribution and Fuel Card
