SUMMARY:
Join a leading financial services business in a highâimpact Senior Internal Auditor role.
You will play a key role in strengthening risk management, controls, and governance across the organisation.
Ideal for a technically strong auditor who wants exposure to complex environments and the opportunity to influence business outcomes.

POSITION INFO:

Execute internal audits to evaluate risk management, controls, and governance frameworks
Identify key risk areas through structured risk assessments and audit planning
Perform audit fieldwork, including walkthroughs, control testing, and data analysis
Prepare clear, insightful audit reports with practical recommendations
Analyse root causes of findings and support management with improvement actions
Review systems, processes, and controls to enhance operational efficiency
Conduct audits of intermediaries, service providers, and key business areas
Engage with stakeholders and present audit findings to senior management and committees
Perform followâup reviews to ensure effective implementation of corrective actions
Support development and improvement of audit methodologies and frameworks
Mentor junior auditors and contribute to team development
Collaborate with external and co-sourced audit service providers

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3–6 years’ internal audit experience
Strong knowledge of risk management, controls, and governance
Experience in financial services, preferably shortâterm insurance
Strong technical auditing skills including data analysis, process reviews, control testing
Understanding of insurance legislation and regulatory environment
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problemâsolving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments

Qualification:

CIA or CA(SA) - non-negotiable
