JOB DESCRIPTION:

Junior Mechanical Design Engineer - Military Vehicles

Midrand

Junior Mechanical engineer with passion for 3D design required to join exciting new company with international Projects.

Will be responsible to work on all design and drafting aspects. Will work within the engineering team that is responsible for product in all stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning.

The main goal for the junior engineer will be to do 3D drawings and assist in the design of mechanical components and products of innovation and excellence.

Qualification:

BEng Mechanical/ Design Engineering

Responsibilities:

Conceptual design, calculations and layouts of new designs
Design sub-assemblies and assemblies
Prepare detail layout and manufacturing drawings or PMI (Product and Manufacturing Information) of components and assemblies
Ensure correct drawing standards are used
Part of Design reviews
