Main purpose of the Job: This role focuses on driving sales by presenting and promoting company products and services, building strong client relationships, expanding market share, and achieving set targets. Junior Sales Representative – Durban Minimum Requirements • Matric (Grade 12) – essential • Relevant qualification or degree – advantageous • 1–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within FMCG (but not limited to this industry) • Strong computer literacy with sound numeracy and technical aptitude • Valid driver’s licence – compulsory Competencies: • High drive, energy, and results orientation • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills • Accountability and innovative thinking • Excellent communication and formal presentation skills • Ability to work independently and under pressure • Strong numeracy skills and technical aptitude • Detail-oriented and well organised High drive, energy, and results orientation Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage fortnightly call schedules and client visits. • Classify, segment, and prioritise clients to maximise growth opportunities. • Conduct market research and maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge. • Implement and support promotional activities as per company guidelines. • Build and grow market share across all product categories. • Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure service effectiveness • Compile and submit accurate weekly sales and ADAPT reports within set deadlines. • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging markets. • Manage sales administration and reporting processes to company standards. • Ensure client deliveries and service execution meet company expectations
