JOB SUMMARY:
Our National Client requires your excellent track record managing key accounts and dealing with new business while being in charge of a small Cape Town branch and the Cape division on behalf of Head Office.

Overall management skills, technical understanding, experience in operations, debtors and stock will be highly advantageous including experience calling on the Road Construction sector or Building industry.

This position is suited to a self-starter who is highly organised and self-managed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

National Senior Certificate, additional qualification advantageous
Previous sales and industry experience necessary.
Computer literacy.
Good administration procedures
Ability to communicate with and deal with customers at a senior level.
Previous technical experience preferred
Must be in possession of a valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence.
Knowledge of export procedures and documentation preferred
Appointments to be conducted in accordance with the company Employment Equity plan.

DUTIES

Preparing and issuing of Company quotations and sales of Road Safety products.
Calling on clients and contractors in the Western Cape, allocated parts of the Northern Cape and Namibia.
Controlling and management of the branch involving debtors, petty cash & staff management.
Controlling and management of stock levels and logistics pertaining to stock receiving and deliveries.
Key Account Management.
Establishing relationships with mining houses, civil consulting engineers, road contractors and road authorities throughout for marketing area.
Dealing with customers pertaining to the issuing of quotations, following up of existing orders and following up on outstanding quotations.
Sales & Marketing functions as and when required which may include travelling internationally.
Entertainment activities with clients will be required from time to time.

Salary: R dependent on experience – Basic, Commission and Company Vehicle
