POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities 70% Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decisionmakers Manage and grow existing accounts, identifying opportunities for increased revenue Drive customer retention and ensure a consistently high level of service delivery Act as the key point of contact for customer queries, escalations and service-related matters Work closely with operations to resolve issues and improve the customer experience Monitor account performance, volumes and profitability Identify and maximise growth opportunities within existing accounts 30% New Business Development: Identify, prospect and secure new customers within the courier, logistics and transport market Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling and market engagement Prepare quotations and proposals and assist with commercial negotiations Build a strong pipeline of prospective customers and convert opportunities into new revenue Requirements 6+ years' experience in Key Account Management Proven experience in Key Account Management and New Business Courier, logistics, freight or transport experience essential Strong understanding of B2B customer relationships and service delivery Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills Commercially astute with a strong sales and growth mindset Ability to work independently and under pressure Valid driver's licence This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious account manager who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and turning strong customer partnerships into business growth.
