POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established technology, manufacturing, and distribution business specialising in high-quality household appliances and consumer electronics across South Africa. The Senior Key Account Manager will build and manage strategic retail partner relationships, execute targeted sales strategies, and drive profitable revenue growth within the household and electronic product categories. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow revenue across assigned retail accounts while developing annual sales plans. Negotiate pricing, trading terms, annual agreements, and promotional activities with retail clients. Build strong relationships with key retail buyers, category managers, and decision-makers. Execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and merchandising initiatives. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer purchasing behaviour to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate on forecasting and inventory planning to ensure stock availability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail sales and account management. At least 3-5 years in a senior sales role within household appliances, consumer electronics, or FMCG durable goods. Demonstrated success in key account management and achieving revenue targets. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
