A leading industrial technology and engineering solutions company supplying products and solutions to the mining, energy, rail, transportation, infrastructure, manufacturing and government sectors is seeking an experienced Product Sales Manager. About the Role The successful candidate will drive revenue growth through new business development, strategic account management, product and solution sales, and tender management. The role involves engaging with key industrial customers, SOEs, utilities and government stakeholders and leading major tender submissions. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify and convert new business opportunities across industrial, mining, energy, rail and infrastructure sectors. Build and manage strategic customer and key account relationships. Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts. Lead tender and bid submissions, ensuring compliance with PFMA, public procurement and BBBEE requirements . Engage with procurement officials, engineers, consultants and senior decision-makers. Conduct product presentations, technical sales engagements and commercial negotiations. Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging business opportunities. Work with technical and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. Minimum Requirements Grade 12. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, Commerce or a related field . 5–10 years' sales and business development experience. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing large contracts. Experience managing complex tenders and bid processes. Strong understanding of public-sector procurement. Advantageous Experience in electrical, rail, industrial, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining or technology sectors. Existing network within SOEs, utilities and infrastructure sectors . At least 3 years' experience dealing with Eskom, Transnet, PRASA, municipalities or government procurement environments . Tender Management or Supply Chain certification.
