JOB SUMMARY:
This incumbent will be someone who understands how logistics works, but will be the Key account holder between the client and your company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a very well known and sizeable concern, would like to employ a Logistics account manager. This incumbent will be someone who understands how logistics works, but will be the Key account holder between the client and your company.

It will be beneficial if you’ve been in a Key account manager (or sales) role before, preferably in the logistics field, but your job will surely not only be about relationships. It is a head office based position, has an analytical element to the position but also very much client focussed.

Your duties will include but not limited to analysing and improving business processes, ensure company keeps cost within budget, build client relationships and dealing with 3PL service providers.

Qualifications:

Degree in Logistics/Supply chain or Business is highly advantageous
Key Account management experience required
Strong analytical background essential
