POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of Android applications using modern frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
Guide and mentor developers to improve team capability and output quality
Integrate applications with external APIs and data sources
Ensure that applications are reliable, scalable, and optimised for performance
Work with design teams to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences
Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to development processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Strong experience in Android development with a focus on native applications
Proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile solutions
Experience leading or mentoring development teams
Strong proficiency in Kotlin
Experience with modern Android UI frameworks
Solid understanding of mobile design principles and user experience
Experience working with RESTful services and JSON data
Strong debugging and problem-solving ability
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
Experience with modern architectural approaches in mobile development
Exposure to performance optimisation techniques
Knowledge of best practice coding standards
