SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to take ownership of technical design and team leadership within a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java back-end development, microservices architecture, and modern engineering practices.

POSITION INFO:

What you'll do:

Work with and direct the teamâ€™s software engineers in setting the standards for coding, testing and software quality
Collaborate closely with the teamâ€™s BAs on the efficient transition of BDDâ€™s and Swaggers to the engineers as part of the overall workflow.
Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code
Provide technical leadership to the teamsâ€™ software engineers through coaching and mentorship
Identify and encourage areas for growth, education, and development within the team

Key Requirements:

7+ years professional Java experience
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Java 11+
Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
Proficiency with Spring Data JPA, relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Exposure to Reactive programming (Reactor Core, WebFlux) is an advantage
Experience working with ETL pipelines beneficial
Jasper Reports experience is a plus
Strong leadership skills â€“ experience mentoring teams or acting as a tech lead
Agile/Scrum experience
