JOB SUMMARY:
Are you a Logistics Analyst looking to refine your skills as well as expanding your knowledge using end to end supply chain function for one of the largest industry leaders?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role:

To monitor and analyse supply chain elements and develop reports which assess performance efficiencies and identify opportunities for improvement.
An analysis in which all known variables and constraints are considered
Third party analysis inform on the costs, the reallocation of a sales contract against shipping point and preferred transporters
Severity of risk implications are identified and the impact on the supply chain network is assessed
An Interactive, knowledge sharing approach with stakeholders is used to obtain buy in
Reports are generated using data from relevant sources to ensure the compilation of meaningful information
An interactive, knowledge sharing approach with the project team and/or stakeholders to ensure feedback on project progress

Qualification:

3 year’s experience in applying the principles of Industrial Engineering with some exposure to a supply chain network.
Good knowledge of the techniques for analysing business indicators and data
Good understanding of the logistical factors that impact the cement industry
Knowledge of the economic and financial principles related to cost implications
Knowledge of project management techniques
Very proficient in using various computer software
Proficient in drawing information from SAP and other IS systems for analysis purposes
Good analytic ability
