JOB SUMMARY:
My client is a seeking for a highly capable Logistics Planning Specialist, are you an immediately available candidate ready to enhance your skills?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role:

Forecasting via MRP on Syspro.
Capture order details on Purchase order schedule – and use this as a tracking tool.
Purchase order, date of order, Stock code, Quantity, Unit Price, Total Price, Payment date, Currency, ETD, ETA Durban, ETA in Warehouse. Provide key-user and end-user training and provide support during and after deployment.
Capture invoice details on Financial Payment schedule. Info Captured – Invoice Number, Supplier Name, Supplier Code, DBN ETA, Payment date, Type of payment – Full / Balance / Deposit, Invoice Amount, Rate of Exchange, Rand Value, Order No. Bill of Lading in case of Full / Balance payments.
Assist Clearing agent with tariff queries.
Forward literature from suppliers if a Customs stop occur. Continuous follow up with clearing agent on Customs release / response.
Capture Invoice details for payment on Financial Payment schedule, as per above Payment section.
Prepare excel estimate – for future arrival of shipment
Ensure that Order on Syspro reflect same info as per above – for future stock receipt
Knowledge of various methods of transport on Imports: Airfreight, full container loads, less container loads
Transfer of stock from Manufacturing Warehouse to Sales Warehouse
Adjust stock as per Warehouse requests
Oversee assistant who assist with various stock transfers

Qualification:

Minimum of 3 years' experience across different industries with a strong preference to oil, gas, or petroleum.
Syspro Experience is preferred.
Imports & Exports sound knowledge
Stock control and planning
Forecasting & estimation
Advanced excel would be advantageous
