We’re representing one of South Africa’s leading insurance houses, and they’re looking to insure their finance team with a Management Accountant who also speaks fluent Finance IT. Someone who can balance the books, calm the systems, and forecast the future without breaking into a sweat.

If month-end doesn’t scare you, budgets don’t bore you, and finance systems actually listen when you talk to them, this policy might be written with your name on it.

Your cover includes

Monthly management accounts and financial reporting
Cashflow management and shareholder reporting
Forecasting across IS, BS, and cash flow
Budget preparation, tracking, and variance analysis
Financial packs and presentations for boards and committees
Owning and administering finance systems and reporting tools
Strengthening internal controls and supporting IFRS reporting
Project work when finance needs a specialist on standby

What you’ll bring to the risk table

BCom Accounting
±5 years’ experience in a finance or insurance environment
Strong management accounting and reporting expertise
Confidence working with ERPs and finance systems
Solid understanding of internal controls and IFRS
Deadline-driven without premium panic
Detail-oriented, structured, and solutions-focused
Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
